Fran Bow is a creepy point & click adventure game that tells the story of Fran, a young girl struggling with a mental disorder and an unfair destiny.
This game was rated PEGI 16 for frequent scenes of a dark and horrific nature containing sustained depictions of death, injury and some moderate violence. It is not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.
There are scenes throughout of blood, gore and dismembered human and animal corpses. Violence scenes include a character being stabbed repeatedly in the back, another being knocked down and briefly strangled and a third being shot in the back with bullet exiting their abdomen, leaving them unconscious and bleeding on the ground.
The overall theme of the game is quite dark and disturbing, and it includes infrequent use of the words ‘bastard’ and ‘bitch’.
