Characters engage in battles with quirky fantasy characters. Attacks make characters flinch and their health bars gradually reduce. When enemies die, they disappear. When the player's characters are defeated they fall down and remain on the ground until they are revived or the battle ends. Although the setting is child-friendly and comic, some boss-characters can be quite menacing and scary. The Demon King is frightening , particularly when he steals people's faces, causing people to seem terrified.
